| We live in the 2nd floor apartment...see the steps? |
To keep that from happening again, her friend in Koriyama--who had left for college last year--gave Emily the bicycle she no longer had use for. Emily could then have two bicycles on hand so that even if one got a flat, she could use the other one while it was being repaired. Our missionary pastor, Nobby Tajima, on one of his trips down to teach at the Bible School here in Iwatsuki, came by car and brought the bicycle to Emily. Thank you so much, Marina-chan (Emily's friend), Pastor Tajima.
We had no way of knowing, last year, that we would be living here too, that Raymond would need a bicycle for his 15-min. trip to school. But God knew, and He had made provision ahead of time. (Incidentally, a Bethel Baptist church member also gave us a silver bicycle too, so now there are THREE bicycles crowding the front of my sister Joyce's apartment!)
